A big thanks to everyone who attended the 1st annual Students on Ice Foundation Dinner on April 28 at Nota Bene Restaurant in Toronto! Hosted by CBC’s Chief Correspondent Peter Mansbridge, the event was a great success featuring dinner by renowned chef David Lee, performances by Inuit artists, a silent auction, special guests, a presentation by Students on Ice Alumni, a performance by Tony Dekker of the Great Lakes Swimmers and an opportunity to spend the evening with polar experts. Proceeds went to support the award-winning Students on Ice Foundation.
Thanks go in particular to Yannick Bigourdan, chef David Lee and the fantastic team at Nota Bene, and of course all the sponsors of dinner: Canada Goose, Labatt, TD, Actual Media, Cream, the Canadian Museum of Nature, the Leacross Foundation, Oceans North, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, Cyan Solutions, WWF, the Walter Gordon Foundation and ITK.
We hope to see you all again next year!
