My name is Wylee Fitz-Gerald. I am 16 years old and live in Surrey, British Columbia. I have been involved in Scouts Canada for the past 10 years and have embraced every opportunity to engage in hands on learning. I am looking forward to working with the international youth and experts on this trip to narrow down my focus in preparation for university. Given my Metis family heritage I have developed a deep respect for the environment and want to do more to preserve it. I have travelled throughout Canada and the USA. Last summer I was in Europe on a Scouting Exchange; highlights of the trip included climbing the Via Ferrata in Kandersteg, Switzerland and visiting the Ann Frank House in Amsterdam. I am passionate about the arts, especially photography and poetry, have committed to social activism in my school and community and love to try extreme sports.
