My name is Victoria, and I am a sophomore from Yale pursuing Environmental Studies who hails from the sunny isle of Singapore. At Yale, I work at the Office of Sustainability, am the founding president of the GREEN @ Yale, serve on the board of Yale’s oldest environmental club, and play on the club frisbee team. Over the summer, I have been helping out on Connecticut farms , and interning at an environmental non-profit called Turning Green in California. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, doing yoga, and bullet journaling. I hope to continue exploring the intersection between sustainability and various disciplines like human rights, policy, business and social change. I am excited to learn from SOI and participants to enrich my knowledge about sustainability within the Arctic, a region I am not familiar with, but is pertinent us to learn about in the face of climate change!
