My name is Loris Biancheri, I’m 16 years old and born in Monaco. Quite hard working and particularly interested in sciences, I’ve always been a dreamer and very creative. That’s why my ambition in life is to become an architect. I practice several sports such as tennis, ski, mountain bike and even windsurf. I also play guitar. Music is very important for me as I don’t spend a day without listening to some. One of my other hobbies is photography. For two years, I’ve been participating in the “Conseil Economique des Jeunes” of Monaco. Its principal objective is to create projects to improve Monaco‘s students’ lives. I really love to travel and discover new places throughout the world, always ready for a new adventure. That’s why I feel really lucky and excited to participate to the Students on Ice expedition. For me, the Arctic represents peace and fragility. More generally, I feel concerned in the protection of the environment and I hope to learn more about it during this expedition. I’ve always been a sociable person and I wish I’ll meet a lot of new people, from different places, with their various cultures!
