Hi I’m Kata! I like to learn about new places and visit new environments. I have traveled across Canada, living in Inuvik NWT, Waterloo ON, Montreal QC, and Vancouver BC. I am grateful to carry the stories and the experiences shared with people in these different places into my life and work. I’m studying sustainability science and biology at McGill University, with an emphasis on climate change in the Arctic and subarctic. I also work on human rights organizing with KAIROS and youth leadership on the Youth and Young Adults Council of the ELCIC. I like ice cream, Disney movies, student and civilian activism, Black Panther comics, crushing the patriarchy, caribou, and adventures.
