Elodie Miles was born in Nice, France in 1997. The younger of two sisters, she lives in the Principality of Monaco with her French mother and English father. She attends the Albert 1er Lycée in Monaco where she is studying for her Baccalauréat (Economics option) within the International section where certain subjects are taught in French and others in English. Her favorite subject is History.Elodie has participated over the past 3 years in a student simulation of the United Nations (called “MUN”) where students learn how to draft, submit and debate resolutions in the international arena, and she has chaired debates in this forum. After her Baccalauréat her ambition is to study International Relations at university in the UK.
Outside school Elodie is a keen sports player and is a member of the AS Monaco Athletics club where she competes in sprint hurdles events. She also reached red belt standard in Taekwondo. She enjoys teamwork, attending an Outward Bound course in the South of France in 2012, and has been a volunteer team leader in a local association, taking responsibility for activities with small groups of younger kids. Elodie enjoys watching films and TV (Sherlock, CSI…) from her favorite spot on the sofa. Her musical tastes are varied, ranging from U2 and Coldplay to dubstep.
