My name is Alex Nnamchi. I am a Canadian Nigerian born and raised in Singapore, where I lived for the first 18 years of my life. I recently finished all my studies at McGill, where I majored in History and minored in Economics. Thanks to my international background, I have travelled to many parts of the world, having visited all continents except for South America and Antarctica. I look forward to going on this trip because it will be the first time that I will have gone so far up North to do research on climate change and to visit Inuit communities. I really hope that this experience will expose me to the threats caused by climate change both on the environment and on the people who depend on it.
