Two Inuvik youth participate in Students on Ice expedition
Two Inuvik youth – Mataya Gillis and Kristi Voudrach – were among eight students from the Northwest Territories who participated in this year’s two-week-long Students on Ice (SOI) Arctic Expedition. The expedition began and ended in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland with 130 students from 20 countries joining the July 23 to August 7 journey.
