Mick Jefferies was born and raised in Charlottetown, Labrador. He is currently living in Fredericton, New Brunswick and recently completed his Bachelor is Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Leadership. Mick will start at UNB Law in the fall. As an Indigenous youth, Mick understands the importance of protecting our environment and educating folks on ways in which we can collectively do this. Mick is also heavily involved in mental health advocacy and believes that there is a major connection between nature and well-being. Mick is interested in sharing ideas and starting these necessary conversations with other youth across Canada. He believes that young leaders are the key to change and he is so excited to start this journey to make real change on a local, national, and international level. In his spare time, you can find Mick at a local coffee shop writing in his bulletin journal or planning his next hiking adventure!
