E2C Coordinator in Kugluktuk

Barbara Olson is an educator raised in Kugluktuk with expertise in adult education, working with the Government of Nunavut, University of Calgary, and Arctic College, and is in her 3rd year Bachelor of Arts.

She spent the first five years of her life living on Victoria Island at a DEW line site, Pin 4, where her father worked.

Barbara has had the privilege of leading adult education programs for Arctic College in her community of Kugluktuk, with a focus on Expertise in Government of Nunavut and working with a focus on IQ.

She is a passionate, life-long learner with a deep passion for education of her kids and for adults who have yet to discover their full potential.

She is the proud mom of two children, Gracey and Joshua, who motivate the work she does in her community as a volunteer and educator. Barbara joins the expedition as the Kugluktuk E2C coordinator.
