Born in Indonesia, Inda came to Canada as an international student. After growing up across seven countries, she now calls Moncton, N.B., home. She first encountered Students on Ice as a participant in the Canada C3 expedition in 2017. She’s excited to now join SOI’s Blue Futures Pathways team.
Trained in journalism, and with an honours degree in International Relations, Inda’s heart has always been in storytelling, sustainable development, and building bridges between peoples. Her experience growing up across many cultures makes her flexible and taught her how to collaborate with people of diverse cultural backgrounds. Her positive outlook on life makes her thrive in environments where she can constantly learn, grow and connect with others.
She most recently worked as a journalist covering business and economy at Atlantic Canadian publication Huddle. Today. Prior to that, she worked as a market analyst and researcher for the legal, finance and health sectors.
In her spare time, Inda uses her entrepreneurial drive to help run a cultural diversity project with her friends and sister. She also loves to sing, play guitar, dance, take photographs, travel, and spend time in nature.
