Today was another great day. Today I had fun going on a kayak ride for two hours. Well it was a really big pain in the back, but it's really fun to go in the kayaks to look for whales and seals. Some of the students were a bit scared on their first kayak trip. Well, that all I have to say, my mind is not so good for journals…so bye.

Hello everyone ... we are now anchored off the Bic Islands, where we arrived at 5:00 am this morning after sailing all night. Yesterday was amazing - 14 whales!! spotted and many photo identified (though the water was a tad rough).
Today we have been kayaking (everyone got out! - some for the first time) and, for those brave of heart - climbing SEDNA’s mast ... having fun ... enjoying our last full day on the St. Lawrence. We’ve seen seals, and seabirds in this spectacular conservation area.

This evening we will be having a celebration dinner together, performing skits and saying special thank-yous! We will be heading up the to the North shore in the morning - looking for BLUES until we reach our landing at FORESTVILLE (where, after being sent for - our Van awaits!) Tomorrrow evening we will again be in Quebec city.
Last night we had a wonderful brainstorming session where we reflected on and gave our impressions of this expedition ... For all of our armchair expeditioners, families, friends, classmates, colleagues ... we will post our “YOUTH IMPRESSIONS DOCUMENT”. Enjoy!
[Webmaster note: And, if anybody following our journey (via the website) would like to add your thoughts or impressions ... I invite you to send me an email ... angiemac@magma.ca] --------------------------------------

Hello to all! When Alex first told me about wanting this experience my first thought(gotta be honest!) was 'gulp' that's a lotta money!' But, when I saw the effort she put into making this dream come true I knew we had to get her there. The surprise has been that her whole family(grand-parents, aunts/uncles) have been logging on everyday...printing this and that, sending this to that aunt or that uncle...in short, basically sharing this adventure with Alex...with all of you! I want to send you all my very best wishes and thanks for doing a stand-up job in keeping the families up-to-date with our loved ones! I have learned so much and have made use of all the links you've provided. It has been very exciting and interesting! Seeing Alex BEAMING from ear to ear gives me so much happiness! My prayers and thoughts are with you as you 'wrap-up' this life-changing experience. xoxo Anita MacKenzie~ (posted 6:00 pm ET) --------------------------------------------------
