Expression of Interest: 2018 Microgrants

**EXPRESSION OF INTEREST**

Students on Ice (SOI) is proud to offer our alumni the opportunity to apply for a 2018 Microgrant! The SOI Microgrant program – formally known as Inspiration Grants –  was initiated in 2014 by SOI alumni Tarek and Sophie. Inspired by their experiences on the SOI Arctic 2014 and 2015 expeditions, and by the skills, abilities, vision and enthusiasm of all participants, Tarek Sherif and Sophie Nicholson decided to support the passion and ideas of their fellow Alumni through a generous grant program. SOI is thankful that since 2014, our grant program has grown with the support of numerous Government of Canada departments and philanthropists from around the world.

We are now looking for your EXPRESSION OF INTEREST to apply for a Microgrant of up to $5,000.

A Microgrant Guide has been created to help you through the application process. This guide will help you understand how to apply for a grant, what is required of you as an applicant, and what to expect if you are chosen to receive funding. You will also find an Expression of Interest template in Appendix A of the guide. With this in mind, please read this guide carefully.

You can view and download the Microgrant Guide here:
