Sheila Watt-Cloutier nominated for 2007 Nobel Peace Prize

There was a lot of excitement here this morning at SOI H.Q. when we learned that Sheila Watt-Cloutier has just been nominated for the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.

Sheila Watt-Cloutier is currently the International Chair for the Inuit Circumpolar Conference, and has worked on a wide range of social and environmental issues, including climate change. She has received numerous awards and honors for her work, and has been featured in a number of documentaries and profiled by journalists from all media.
