There are 50,000 Inuit in Canada are – and 54% of them are under 30. Yet, as a group these youth go largely unrepresented and are rarely given the opportunity to voice their opinions, concerns and ideas. The National Inuit Youth Council (NIYC), with Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami (ITK), is responding to this by creating a magazine that will be youth-focused and, more importantly, youth-driven.
