As many of you have heard, on Sunday, February 26, a devastating fire in a block of row houses in Iqaluit, Nunavut has left dozens homeless and with only the clothes on their backs. Donations have been flooding in, but more are needed.
Many of the residents are young families attending school at Arctic College. First Air, Canadian North and Red Cross have all set up methods of donating goods and clothing and we wanted to share this with you, in case you are able to make a donation.
Here is how you can contribute:

Items in high demand:
- Bedding , blankets, new pillows
- Towels
- Personal Hygiene items (tooth brushes, dental floss, deodorant, Tampons/Pads)
- Clothes especially mitts, hats, socks, and boys clothes (boots & shoes are covered)
- Non perishable food items
- Laundry soap, J cloths, cleaning supplies
- Dishes, pans, coffee pots, flatware
* No electronics please!
