IN THE FIELD, FOR THE FUTURE
Join us for an extraordinary six weeks in the field as we travel from the mountains of the Slocan Valley to the marine coast of Vancouver Island. Explore strategies for creating ecological sustainability and social equity with passionate educators and other inspiring change-makers.
During the May 18th to June 26th, 2009 semester:
• Engage with experts in the field and participate in field research
• Backpack in the spectacular wilderness of Valhalla Provincial Park
• Learn critical skills for creating positive change
• Paddle the Fraser River from Hope to Vancouver
• Participate in workshops, leadership initiatives and team projects
• Kayak on the Pacific coast
• Receive credit for three environmental studies courses from the University of
• Victoria
• Get ready to take effective action in your community!
