Dani Reiss

Dani Reiss is President and CEO of Canada Goose, the iconic Arctic Luxury apparel company.

Over the past decade, Canada Goose has grown over 4,000%, thanks to his commitment to innovation and passion for authenticity. When other companies moved manufacturing to Asia, Dani made the unconventional decision to keep production at home, inspiring a Made in Canada manufacturing renaissance.

Today, the brand is available in 50 countries worldwide, employs over 1,000 people, and is recognized as Canada’s only truly global luxury apparel company.

Dani was named Canada’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011 by Ernst & Young, and in 2013, partnered with Bain Capital for the company’s next growth phase.

Dani serves on the Economic Advisory Council to Finance Minister Joe Oliver, is Chairman of the Board for Polar Bears International, and sits on the Board of Directors of Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation and the 2016 NBA All Star Game Steering Committee.

Dani and his company Canada Goose, have been very generous supporters of Students on Ice over many years, including providing Canada Goose jackets, vests and hats for all SOI participants on each expedition.
